BIBLE CURRICULUM

COVENANT SCHOOLS CHRISTIAN CURRICULUM

At Covenant Schools, we do more than provide child care—we help build strong foundations for life. Bible time is a key part of our curriculum. Through our Bible curriculum, children learn to recite Psalm 23, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Ten Commandments while participating in interactive Bible stories that help build strong moral character and introduce lasting Christian values.

As a Christian school in New Mexico, we believe in teaching Biblical truths, values, and principles from an early age to help shape good character, encourage Christian living, and inspire a lasting love of learning. Alongside academic growth, we are committed to building a strong foundation in the Christian faith, helping children grow both spiritually and intellectually.

COVENANT SCHOOLS BIBLE CURRICULUM

The Bible curriculum at Covenant Schools teaches children to love God, care for others, and live according to biblical principles. Lessons include memorizing Scripture, learning stories from the Old and New Testaments, and applying Christian values throughout their day. Our curriculum encourages creative thinking, problem-solving, and exploration of the world around them, all rooted in Christian faith.

MISSION STATEMENT

TO PROVIDE AN EXCEPTIONAL EDUCATION IN A SAFE AND NURTURING ENVIRONMENT WHERE CHILDREN CAN GROW IN THE CHRISTIAN FAITH

Christian Principles

Christian principles are taught as children learn basic Scripture passages, such as the 23rd Psalm, the 10 Commandments, and the Lord’s Prayer. By teaching these principles for Christian living early, children are given a firm foundation for growing in the Christian faith.

Christian Values

Our daily activities and stories help children understand Christian values in everyday situations. From learning to share with others to reading stories that encourage thoughtful reflection on Christian morals and conduct, children are guided to live with integrity and compassion. At Covenant Schools, we intentionally weave Christian teachings into each part of the day, helping students grow in kindness, truthfulness, and forgiveness through both practice and example.

Christian Education

We utilize the ABEKA curriculum to help students advance in their academic ability. With a solid curriculum that weaves Biblical truth and academic learning together as a whole, children obtain a well-balanced education that prepares them for primary school.
